Relations with the workers you represent

This tool aims to help you reflect on the just transition focusing on the workers you represent and on your role as trade union representative.

It focuses on the following categories regarding environmental and socio-occupational aspects: Awareness, Behaviour/Attitudes, Transmission and Sharing of Information, Consultation (Involvement) of Workers, Active Role (Engagement) of Workers.

As you fill in the questionnaire, you need to provide only one answer per sentence, assessing how closely this corresponds to the current state of affairs, thus considering the frequency and/or intensity with which the described event occurs.

Key line (unless otherwise indicated):

very poor/strongly disagree:--
poor/disagree:-
adequate/neutral:+/-
good/agree:+
very good/strongly agree:++
don’t know:?
not applicable:n.a.

Example:

Sentence: Have workers ever asked you about the environmental impact of the final product, in terms of pollution?.
Answer ++: If workers frequently ask for this kind of information.
Answer --: Workers have never asked for this kind of information.
Answer n.a.: If the final product has no environmental impacts in terms of pollution.

At the end of the questionnaire, a table summarizes the results for each category, helping you in your reflection. After filling out the questionnaire, you can view and download the summary of your answers and the table.

If you do not have time to fill out the tool now or need more time to gather the required information, you can also download the questionnaire and fill it out offline. Both online and offline, you can choose to answer only the aspects you find most interesting (e.g., Awareness). But for an aspect to be considered, you must answer all the sentences in it, so if you wish to answer only some sentences within an aspect, you can always use "n.a." for the others.

If you gather more information afterwards, you can always revisit this tool.

Terms in light blue are detailed in the glossary at the end of the toolkit.
